This project is a part of the URBAN II of the EU. Kassandra ry implements the project in Myllypuro, Kontula, Kurkimäki, Vesala and Kivikko, in cooperation with local actors.

One of the main goals is to improve standards of living in these areas by providing the possibility of free art workshops, lectures and art events for women of all backgrounds. The workshops approach questions related to identity and tolerance using artistic media and are run primarily by new-Finnish artists and educators.
Free childcare is provided while mothers attend meetings and workshops.

Due to limited resources we maintain some parts of our site in Finnish only.
